ABOUT
I was supposed to be a mechanical engineer. Quit before Day 1 — sent the email to HR before I even walked through the door. Not because I had a plan, but because I knew that wasn't the life I was going to be able to live.
Photography started as an excuse. An excuse to travel, to show up in places I had no business being in, to talk to strangers and follow people into the mountains. Somewhere along the way it stopped being an excuse and became the thing itself. I founded Black Mango Production, spent a year making films and ads and content - but the camera I kept coming back to was the one pointed at a ridge at 5am or a rider mid-air on a trail nobody's heard of.
I shoot travel and landscape because the world is genuinely stranger and more beautiful than anything I could manufacture. I shoot sports because there's a version of honesty in athletic movement that you can't fake - the body either did the thing or it didn't.
Based in Mumbai currently.
